The Sky is falling everyone! Take shelter!

17-3 is miles ahead of where we have been in the past couple years yet people insist on acting like the world is imploding. Unless there's some sort of miracle, we are out of the Top 25 next week and it is not necessarily a bad thing. Since we hit the Top ...

Besides benefiting their conference RPI in basketball, why would they possibly want us for all sports? So the rest of the teams can pay to send their athletes to Massachusetts for games/meets?

They added us to balance their football conferences, which we no longer do. I think they would be more ...

Ultimately, either would be fine, but I will always defer to offensive minded coaches than defensive minded ones.

Went 11-5 purely because I want to be conservative and factor in games where stars miss time due to foul trouble or injuries. I think we match up well with most teams under the circumstances we face, but there is always a chance we slip on any given night. I foresee UMass meeting or exciting the 11 ...

Carr was brought in to assist in the search regardless of whether or not they have a candidate in mind. Given the state of the program, you need the right guy and you can't afford to give yourself tunnel vision on one candidate because there is always a chance you get burnt (I.e. if we are ...

Trying to force te issue too much and Chaz doesn't look like Chaz. Let Trey run the offense and have Chaz spot up. Need a momentum shift right here.

My question on Mangini would be the recruiting chops, not the coaching. He's a bright guy but if players don't wanna play for him it is all for naught. I do think it is hazardous to take one stop on a coaches resume and assume that bears out for their entire career. It is hard or a coach making $1M ...

Who knows? External sources are willing to pick up the tab on the Molnar contract, perhaps they are willing to pitch in to increase our bottom of the barrel football salaries too. One can hope right?

So do Max and his goons up their whining and crying and say that now that we got rid of the coach, we should move back down??? How much damage is this move going to do to the football team?

If there is some sort of scandal that comes out of it like 1991 mentioned, it takes some of the stink off ...

I have to imagine an outside alumni/donor made a call or two. I kind of doubt that the higher ups would make a 180 in a month without outside pressure. Not to mention funding a buyout for the guy.

Wow. Jack McCutcheon is ruthless. I wonder what implications this will have on the football program. Surely, there may be some attrition from players but I am more worried about the faculty and naysayers once again coming out of the woodwork.

The question for me is, what changed in two years that ...

More likely than not. I think Ohio is a good team from everything I have seen, but I will reserve judgement for the MAC as a whole. When you start making overarching comments about a whole conference, you take away the true story.

For example - If a few years ago you called the Horizon League a ...
