Getting recruited and actually choosing UMass completely different. MAC concerns can ONLY be alleviated with a commit. Yes, if a 4 star kid like this commits then those with concerns would have to shut up.

Is there Tampering?? Of course there is. Players are contacted throughout the season by “intermediaries” on behalf of other programs. Anyone who has success at a program falls into that category. A large amount of players enter the portal already knowing what offers are out there.

Odenigbo is slowly becoming dominant. If coach can keep this team intact the future is bright. Lilly at 6-3 and Odenigbo at 6-5 can be an outstanding front court.

Saying that both the A10 and MAC are one bid leagues and therefore equal is dead wrong. Ask anyone in NCAA basketball media or any group of NCAA coaches and they will all tell you that the A10 is far superior to the MAC. I assure you high school recruits feel the same way.

The biggest question in this game will be can UMass score in the paint. A major factor in the loss out at Bona was Chad Venning’s dominance of the inside and especially of Cohen.

Frank got frustrated with the guards constantly getting beat off the dribble. That was another reason Worthy was in as Frank maybe thought he guarded better. However that weakens the offense.
