By the way, I thought Stan Van Gundy was one of the best color commentators we've had all year. Knew the A-10 and our team very well. Mentioned how both Maxie and Trey were in the discussion for 6th Man of the Year and kept saying that the A-10 absolutely deserves six teams in the dance. Good stuff.

Winning games ugly in the A-10 tournament is a step above being one and done all 4 years I was in school, that's for sure.

Team really plays up and down to level of competition

Interesting seeing the list of committee members. No real close ties to UMass, though the LSU AD is on here (beat them). Locally, the Northeastern AD is on the committee but he's really the only Northeast tie-in. Surprisingly a lot of west coast affiliations.

With all the talk of this year being a soft bubble, interested to see where people think last year's UMass team would be bubble-wise this year. 21-11 after losing to VCU in the A-10 semis, picked up wins over Temple, Xavier in the last couple of games. Think their RPI was right around 50. Sounds ...

In case you've never been there, Dance Card is usually incredibly accurate with At Large bids. They got all the teams correct last year.

Going into the Dayton game, UMass was 16th out of At-Large bids. Top 47 are in.

Think no one is really surprised by the result but the game was definitely winnable. Waited too long to get it going, which is the common ingredient in most of our losses.

Only negative right now is that Dayton is hanging around despite being outplayed by a solid margin.
