I likely would have done the same thing. Not going to hold it against him.

I had no issues with what Putney did because I think it was a natural reaction. I don't think he is a douchebag type person who would do that on purpose... at least he has never shown me anything to believe that he is like that.

I agree that it wasn't a taunt, just a natural reaction. If anything, I think he may have just been checking to see which way to step away from the guy without tripping.

^^^ man those are some maroon glasses.

100% did the stare down on purpose. It's all part of the dunk. I believe they refer to it as the alpha male asserting his dominance.

Put's dunk is awesome but it shouldn't surprise us, we know he can do that. Here's the surprising part, that he dribbled through a double team to do it! I certainly didn't know he could do that!

People are actually complaining about Putney's post dunk reaction?? People complain when he does'nt go to the hoop strong enough, and now they complain when he does and he stares down the opponent. I have no problem with it, send a message to anyone who thinks of stepping in his way for the rest of the year. A lot worse happens in basketball than staring down a guy who pretty much got tea bagged.
