Polls/Bracketology
I think Dayton is in - or at least, absolutely should be. I think St. Joe's is right on the bubble with a loss today. Could be the Hawks, PC, fighting for a spot, hoping no bid stealer in the WCC.
I think both should be in regardless of today, but a St. Joe's win is best chance for 6 bid Atlantic Ten.

Rothstein asked the question to jerry palm last night about what happens to the winner and loser of this game. He said the winner jumps out of the play in game and the loser could still get in, but will have to see about the other remaining bubble teams and possible bid stealers, but they could still be on the right side if the bubble.NilesGold wrote:Chris, you seem to follow the braketology stuff really closely, what's your thought on Dayton vs SJU, in terms of which team with a loss today would be in the best position to still make the tourney? I thought it was SJU, but they've already lost two straight, while Dayton has won 10 of their last 11. The more A10 teams in the tourney the better as far as I'm concerned, screw all of our bubble OOC opponents.
I think Dayton now has the better resume at this point and would have the better chance to get in with a loss but there isn't much of a difference with the 2 teams. I would like to see Dayton in the play in game in Dayton just to hear the outcry.
That would be fantastic, the roof would blow off of that place with those fans. I too think Dayton has a better resume than SJU.Camby4Life wrote:Rothstein asked the question to jerry palm last night about what happens to the winner and loser of this game. That is just fitting. My favorite part of these few days are the blind resumes and the talking heads trying to defend the majors. It's comical since we are a lock but I would be going crazy right now if I was a SJU or Dayton fan. It's a good thing the committee doesn't think like some of these clowns on tv.

The guys at ESPN can keep pushing their BCS bias but when it comes down to it, the committee doesn't always see it that way. VCU/UAB in 2011, Middle Tennessee last year, Iona in 2012. I still firmly believe that both Dayton and SJU are in no matter what. Florida State just lost so that knocks off another team. Root against Minnesota and Missouri right now.
