He states in the article his mom lives in Georgia. Guess that's why GT is in the picture. Also no mention of Umass in the article.

^ No mention of UM, but BABC and the connection between LP and RP is featured prominently. The same RP that gave LP his scouting director job with the Celtics.

We're still involved, but the competition for Bruce is fierce.

Not gonna happen....our best chance for a decent splash in 2016 is with the pair from Louisiana I think... And honestly if DK doesn't pull a decent class he might be the next coach at Springfield College.

^ DK hasn't been one to chase players he doesn't think he has a chance with. Brown might be a long shot and it probably won't happen for UMass, but I don't think it's totally out of the question that Brown could end up at UMass.

This popped up today. I don't have a subscription, but just the fact that he mentions us is a positive. Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but the visitations appear to be important to him.

Hm, bet he goes to BC. Historically, I don't think we've too well when going up against BC.

Read the whole article, but not much else in there other than him saying us, Indiana, and BC were the ones who were actually taking the time to see his games. Wouldn't necessarily consider it a strict final 3, but I feel better about our chances than I did prior to reading it.

I don't think he'll go to BC and if he does UMass probably wouldn't be his 2nd choice. UMass and BC rarely compete for recruits, they are vastly different schools.

Yes - BC students tend to lift their pinkie finger as they sip martinis and Umass students tend to injure themselves doing keg stands...

It's kind of like the old crossfit joke... How can you tell if somebody goes to BC? Don't worry about it, they'll tell you.

Brown, 6-4, 200-pounds from Saxtons River (Vt.) Vermont Academy, listed Indiana, Michigan, Massachusetts and Boston College were recruiting the hardest. Out of these four, UMass is pursuing him with the most vigor.
I mean that's a good thing, right?
