What a great job by the team - coaches, players.

Love the new UMass team with McCall at the helm. Playing smart, good defense, use of the small bench and X's and O's.
Be proud of the present and look to the future.

Awesome win and highly pleased the stream kicked in around the 16-minute mark of the second half. What a defensive performance down the stretch after PC went on the 9-0 run to lead by four. There are going to be stinkers like the Quinnipiac loss this year, but we are going to compete with some solid teams this year too.

Obviously need another true ball handler to close out a game like that as it wasn't the prettiest effort, but they had already done enough to secure the win. Now McCall gets a week to prepare for Georgia on national tv, hopefully this gives us some juice into that game.

that's a perfect summary of the game. great team effort and out-of-this-world superb from Pipkins. having the lead for so long and then losing it as an underdog often means you're going to lose, and winning from that point on, as the team did today, deserves a lot of praise.

Malik is really coming on. CB responding to MM and busting his arse. Pip and CJ also outstanding games. CJ got in the lane a ton today and collapsed their D and we got some nice inside buckets.
Team responded big in 2nd half. Get on the bus people, this team is carving their identity

I loved that assist by Baldwin to Hines for a slam. Both are athletic big guys who can do a lot for this team.

It’s a beautiful thing! Pips a real gamer, and everyone played hard, withstood the runs and closed out. Starting to get some defensive intensity and identity, culture baby!

This team can go somewhere.I can see the difference with the coaching from game one.More x and o. Best game in 2 years.MM will do the right thing to have this team compete. I like two that we have 4 big men. Holloway can play and if he can get some weight off can be better.. .impressive win. Like this coach. :P

Spoke with Jaylen Franklin after the game for a few seconds. Nice kid, very appreciative of the support, and even remembered my shout out to him last year to keep up the grind. Good kids in this program.
I know it was a shitty day, but the crowd was better than I thought. If we can start getting 4,5,6k into the place, It will really push this team along.
Great college basketball game today. Enjoyable to see the team disciplined, in shape, and well coached. This is what I buy season tix for

Good ol’ Jeff Goodman gave UMass and Pipkins a shoutout today for our win and effort.

I knew there was a good chance of winning once I saw that Vegas only had Providence as 4.5 favorites, expected at least 7.5 pre game. That’s of top talent on that Providence team.

Also, I hope the student section was solid today. Nothing like waking up to snow and deciding to drink early and then going to Mullins for a game,

GREAT win!

MM’s message has been consistent from day one...and it’s getting through!

You could hear how happy he was in the post game show.

No more coulda/woulda/shoulda. No more, l’m not getting my numbers...it’s about preparation, hard work and team.

Eleven is terrible. We had no video until halfway threw the second half, it was frozen on a pre game shot, and then no audio. How can they set up for a game and not test to see if the stream is working? No access in NC to NESN on cable.
