The past few times UMass has played at BC, the Alumni Association and/or Athletics rents a dining hall for tailgating. Food included with a cash bar. It was a decent deal in the past. Perhaps it is not traditional tailgating (or what passes for it in a parking garage at BC), but the dining hall keeps out BC fan interlopers.
Not that I have been paying any attention, but, until I just searched, I have seen zero promotion about this event:

No idea if this is official or what the deal is at all, but found this. For what it's worth.

They have sent two emails, but that about it. Not a single thing, emails and event page, specify what you get for the $25, something I've provided feedback on a few times already... no such changes have been made.

It's not official official, but official enough if the Department is pushing it publicly more than the on campus reception. I plan to be there.

BC #34 in this week's AP poll - pretty meaningless at this point.

Planning on going to Cityside for pre-game. Coming in on the green line from Riverside. Does anyone know which is the best stop to get off?

Get off at Reservoir-Cityside is a 3 min walk from the station. Impossible to miss it.

LOL #34? How do they get there count how many votes they received after the top 25? If you ain't 25th (or better) you're last. [I reserve the right to revoke this post the day UMass receives votes... If I am lucky enough to live that long]
