Teams NOT making the Top 20: BU, BC, UNH, Maine, Lowell Textile School.

Great news! Now they need to keep up the momentum.
Stop waiting for UMass to do something big and help UMass do something big. - Shades

I'm gonna print this post ^ laminate it and frame it.
All due respect, and I mean that from the bottom of my heart, I'm gonna pass.

Amazing what the right coaching hire can do.
I don't care what it costs to keep Carvel for a long time, they have to. I don't think this is catching lightening in a bottle, I think he can bring sustained success and he's only 48. If he can be our Jack Parker it would be amazing.

Re: 2018-2019 Season
^^^ It seems like money should be the main issue and we have to find a way to take care of him. The NHL is the only place he could go that has more prestige and that might be beyond our control. Hockey East is at the top or at least close to the top of college hockey conferences so I can't see him leaving for another college job unless friction develops between Carvel and the administration. That seems highly unlikely with the current regime (Swamy/Bamford).
Give me at least 5 more years and hopefully 20 for a Parker-like run!

Up to #11 on USCHO poll. Has the hockey program ever been ranked this high?

We were ranked 5th in January 2008
Re: 2018-2019 Season
That was following a mid-season tournament they won right? Oh boy how the wheels came off that season...

Re: 2018-2019 Season
^ Yes, I know how early it is, but it is mind bending that Us and Q are the only NE schools that are in the top 17 in that link.

You can say that again...after being ranked 5th, they only won 3 games the rest of the season!
