Good for him, not a bad list of schools.

Lots of good schools on that list.. good for him, that’s exactly what Pipkins wanted.

I have nothing against Providence, I actually root for them to a degree and I think Cooley is a fantastic coach. But if we lost Pip to a NE school, even if it's not Uconn, URI or BC, it would just feel weird.

I do not see it as losing Pipkins. He wants a change. Go get em, Pip.

Glad to see his stock is still high enough to have interest from that list of schools.

Not surprised to see Providence on that list. Pip dropped 20, 30, and 26 (with a game-winner) in 3 games against the Friars, so they're well aware of what he can do.

Similar for Nevada. Pip went for 30 against them.

Loyola-Chi is hometown. Kind expected DePaul to be on the list for similar reasons.

Pretty wide mix on the others. Fresno State seems like an odd outlier. Thought more Big 10 or Big East schools might be here.

I just want to say thanks to all the coaches that contacted me during this time, but after careful consideration I have decided to use my last year of eligibility to play for coach Ed Cooley and the Providence friars

I always thought Cooley was a soft players coach in the Bru and Kellogg mold. I think Pipkins just wanted some place where he could freelance in the end.

Completely agree. He just wanted out. Providence is a bubble program so his exposure will be better provided he gets the minutes, I guess.
