What's the argument for not taking a timeout after the last 3?

I can’t figure this team out. 1 point lose. Very disappointing.

Losing these close one point games does in fact suck rhino. However, would you rather have another UMass team from the last decade?

Frank has a team of freshmen for the most part. This season has been impressive, even with the frustration.

Brickus, Jocius and Brantley came to play today.

Well that was a step back. Not going to win many game when you give up 51 in the first half. Guard play killed us. Our 4 guards shot 6 for 29. The rest of the team shot 19 for 30.

I’ve been harping on the lack of shooting all year — makes the margin for error that much thinner and LaSalle did a good job keeping us off the offensive glass. And Diggins just drives me nuts. He is so damn inconsistent.

Yeah we battled back and that showed something but fuck, that first half defense was awful and getting into 18 point hole against that team is really disappointing. So yay I guess for the effort coming back.

Gotta disagree. The fact is we didn't come out strong either half, and its disappointing. Saw no spark from anyone. This was LaSalle, not Dayton. Really disappointed I stayed home to watch this.

No sugarcoating a terrible loss. Guard play (aside from Davis) was terrible

No silver linings in this game. Huge blown opportunity to build momentum and to get the fans engaged. This is exactly why the Mullins Center is 1/3 full when they play. Inconsistent and uninspired basketball against the worst team in the conference.
As fans, we’re upset at the outcome, but I have to imagine that the players are even more upset. Really nothing good to say at all about today’s game. Terrible loss. If the Richmond game was one of the best wins in years, this has to be one of the worst losses.

I don't wanna here that we lost another close one - we were down 18 midway through the 2nd half to the worst team in the A-10 and then they started to play like it and we made a few three's late. Sure if you didn't watch you would say, wow, we lost another heartbreaker - NOPE! we sucked for 30 minutes and only made it close because Lasalle sucks!

Diggins is shooting 18% from deep on the road. Typical role player vibes. For a player who scores most of his points from shooting 3s, that’s no bueno. That explains why were so bad on the road

Beginning of the year I vowed not to let UMass losses bring me down, so I’ll look at this as a neutral week. They had to win one, and they did. That said, they choked away all momentum and desperately need another win next week against tough competition.

If they had won today like they should have, I think the VCU game this week could have been a nice atmosphere. I think that's dead now. They looked tired today and unmotivated. Cross was his aggressive and active self somewhat, and Cohen got his #'s but didn't really seem dominant. The whole vibe was really emotionless

Might be time to mix it up. Start Davis at the 2 beside Keon. He's been shooting better and he rebounds. Diggins seems to be pressing a bit, maybe it'll take a little pressure off

as disappointed as I am with this loss - personally this loss is not going to change my mind about going to the VCU game - and I hope others feel the same way. I guarantee you most of the students have no clue if they won or lost today so I don't think this will have any effect on the crowd Tuesday. Its winter vaca next week so hopefully parents will see this as a little break and bring the kids to the game and support this team!

Frank said after the game that the kids were completely gassed from playing 5 games in 13 days. Tried to manage their energy level the last few days.
