Thought they also said we had 69 new players this year. Watch the first 3 quarters, without sound at pool until my phone died. Thought they played with a lot of heart, have not given up and that speaks to their effort and how they feel about the coaching staff. The score was the same, except we scored 2 TD and just missed a long field goal in heavy rain. Feeling better about after this game and hope to see the same effort and not the team, who did not perform against NIU.
Be proud of the present and look to the future.

His completion percentage, as well as the other QBs, would be about 10% higher if the receivers caught the catchable balls and 15% higher if they caught a few 50/50 balls.

Or a line that could block.. Thats the biggest issue. No QB would succeed with the line we have.

Listen to the 7 minute post game. Yes 1 this past week and once this coming week. Injuries and down to 1 QB.

I got to give these players a little bit of credit for keeping this game close. Ohio is a legit program and doesn’t lose at home and UMass didn’t give up. Game was a lot closer than the final score. If UMass could have eliminated the dumb mistakes and just get one stop on a 4th down they could have had a chance in the 4th as a 35 point underdog.

Thought they also said we had 69 new players this year.

Does that mean we have 20 more players left to see if they can play at this level?

When the new OC was hired he brought in his own OL coach. Miller was on staff for a while with coach Joe.

It’s remarkable that in the last 3 weeks there has been 23 total completions by opponents….but 131 points. Truly unreal stat.

There's close and then there's UMass close.. losing by only 2-3 touchdowns.
