The size of any KAEO thread is only indicative of the hype that precedes the player. Oriakhi, and rightfully so, has a lot more hype coming in.

Traynham was talented, but he was also a punk . He got kicked out of Lee Academy after several warnings. The last straw was when he shot a few people with a bb gun. Traynham was as hard headed as they come.

I never shared the optimism about Traynam's game once we got a look at it. I thought he'd make a clever play or two here or there, but few and far between. He was not going to be a PG on a winning A10 team.
Easy to say now, but I did feel that way at the time.

Pesky because he was quick, but took a lot of chances.

My personal favorite is Len worrying about Chaz hurting team chemistry

His best move was drawing a charge at mid-court. I think he drew 3 of them in 10 minutes against BC. Then the refs caught on and he hardly got a call the rest of the year, but it was fun for a while.

Again....we need more guys with actual skills to complement the young "potential" players we have....and guys who are 5'9" don't get scholarships unless they have strong skills. And SPEED!
Nice get, DK.
This. and, of course, this:

that's enogh for me.

I am proud of myself for looking through Chaz's boxscore from the year and found this telling stat.
When Chaz scores 12 points or less, we are 3-8. The only losses where he did his thing scoring and we still lost was @Miami, @La Salle, and @Temple.
Chaz must be a scorer and a distributor for this team to have success and I think he balances the two persona's about as well as any point guard could.

I didn't know he was transferring. Can you imagine us getting Chaz, Evan, Carson and Alex? We'll be undefeated for years.

If we can only get one of them, though, I'll take Chaz.

How did I miss that? I was reading the Globe and there was no mention of it.
