Idiots.. if you need to save time have them all line up with their families and read off the names as they wave to the crowd. Still recognizes each senior

If they win only two games next year they've got the excuse pre-made. "We're a young team. Look at all the seniors we graduated last season."

I’d love to see UNH or Maine come back to Amherst. I do miss playing both of them every year. I hope we manage to keep UConn on the schedule every year going forward, it’s great for both schools and solidifies our rivalry.
Uconn needs the game too - especially if they stay Indy.

Do not be surprised however, if Umass becomes competitive to see UConn suddenly be "unable to fit us" in their schedule. It Ok if we win 1 out of every 5 but if we win two in a row, the series is over.

I think it’s in both schools’ best interest to keep the game. If I’m Bamford I’d be reaching out today to UConn to solidify a ten year agreement to play each season until 2035. Regional rivalries are important to keeping FBS interest especially since we don’t have any natural rivals in the MAC. A deal maker would be able to tie in an agreement to play yearly in basketball as well.

It'd be great to see UNH, Maine, or URI move up to FBS and become the 14th member of the MAC. It would give the conference an even number of schools and reestablish a regional rivalry within their conference for UMass.

Nobody here disagrees with you Quann... but UConn will never agree to that unless they 100% know they will have the upper hand for the full 10 years.

In addressing your regional Rivals comment, Umass cannot afford to play Maine and NH every year, but they should play each in alternate seasons for at least the next 4 - 2 home 2 away. A lot will happen over the next 4 years; hopefully including some level of improvement in Amherst where they need to play all FBS teams on their schedule. Ah - dare to dream.

UM should not go to UNH / Maine even 1 x in a 50 year cycle.
UM is a higher level and should not drop down a level for a road game.

Another article about senior day
What a clown show this is right now. Not exactly instilling confidence that they are going to hire the right guy for the head coaching spot.

Guys who plan on entering the transfer portal from other schools and high school recruits will be running away as fast as they can. Great start for the next head coach.

You can't get much more cold hearted. How out of touch do you need to be to think not honoring seniors is acceptable.

While on the trip to watch the game at Georgia with friends who only go to one “big game” a year; these friends (who all attended UMass) and I were talking about the complete lack of UMass presence at these games. Not the fans, parents etc. the fact that the school doesn’t sponsor or set up anything (we’re willing to pay for it) for the small group that travels is weird. It doesn’t have to be a big deal. It would be nice for the school to acknowledge those that travel to these games. The home team has always been kind and welcoming to us and many ask us if there is an “official” tailgate for UMass fans. They are usually surprised when we say no.

They used to do it.

I went to one at the Wisconsin game. Had them during the FCS timeframe, as I went to a few. Do you belong to the Alumni association or the Friends of Football?
