I watched the first half of that game last night...was a bit slopfest to say the least but both squads had some definite talent, though. KD had a couple of nice drives and scrapped on defense and the boards (for a small guard he held his own) along with a couple of turnovers. Seems like he's got some good potential though.

Former target Chris Chiozza runs things for White Station and he looks pretty good. The other kid we are supposed to be looking at, Nych Smith, jacked up a few shots, but don't really remember much about him. I did all of this while working on a six pack of Anchor Steam and without taking any notes! I should start my own scouting service...HALF ASS SCOUTS INC...we'll kinda fill you in on the kids you NEED to know about!

Anyone know how his unofficial visit went yesterday? I'm intrigued to hear which way he's leaning

He stated he plans make 5 official visits in the future. Hopefully he was impressed yesterday but this was an unofficial visit. Doubt he's leaning anywhere yet.

"I really want to hear from UConn and Oregon. I really like their guard play."

While not totally unreasonable on his part, it's also not exactly what you want to hear from one of your top recruiting targets if you're UMass.

Not that it matters anything, but Dorsey checked in with 4 stars and at #95 on Scout's most recent rankings for 2015 kids. The site only lists ODU and Creighton as schools with interest so I'm not sure how much they are actually following the kid.

Tuesday, March 25 is Kevin Dorsey's birthday. @kevvv____

He'd be a good one to see in Maroon and White.

Here's his VerbalCommits page. He now has a lot of offers. He is one of 4 or 5 good PG candidates we have offered for 2015.

[While he said he’s still keeping his options open, he did name three favorites. “VCU or UMass, or Virginia Tech, probably those three,” he said. “The [head coaches] really love me, I like them a lot, they’re my type of guys, they play my style of basketball, so those would probably be my top three.”]

FWIW the article also said of those three he's only visited VCU, which is completely inaccurate. VCU already has two PG's and another two combo or SG's from the 2013 and 2014 classes, so from the perspective of available playing time, UMass definitely has an advantage over VCU.
