I don't have any statistics handy, but I'm pretty sure I have seen 1, 2 and 3 seeds playing outside of prime time in years past in the opening round. A 1-16 match up is likely to be a blow out. they want a game that is likely to be contested in prime time so people will keep watching. I hope we get a night game, but I wouldn't be at all surprised to see us early in the afternoon.
Just looked at the previous posts. Looks like 4 or 5 people beat me too it!

Harlan's got a good voice but he gets a little too excited too often for my taste. Len Elmore should stick to lawyerin' because as a commentator he kinda sucks.
Excited to see the game. A game against Iowa could be in the 180's while a game against Tennessee could be in the 120's.

Don't know much about PNC arena, but I believe NC State is the "in the city" school of tobacco road, right in the middle of Raleigh, while the others are all campus schools.Sheck wrote:NC State and also the Carolina Hurricane. Not very far from the Duke campus though. They will bring a lot of fans.Refuse2Lose83 wrote:PNC Arena is home to who?
Cool_Hand - ya...but you probably won't be staying near Hillsborough Street where all the NCSU bars are. NCSU is in the city but outside of New England cities are much larger in area - as in the city limits of Raleigh (144 sq. mi) enclose an area equal to that of Boston and 14 adjacent cities and towns.
