I stumbled upon this while looking for current info on Tyrn Flowers. McLean's stats from his sophomore year at Hoosac, where he is once again attending. 31.5 PPG.

The fact that he's a guard (albeit a dynamic athletic guard) and can score 31.5 as a sophomore is telling regardless of the competition. They did play a bunch of NEPSAC schools, so the competition wasn't all bad. My point, however, is that we sometimes see big men dominate against poor competition because they are 5 inches taller than the tallest player on the other team. When you see a guard dominate there is a much better chance that he can translate that to the next level.

I guess I also have a soft spot for Unique because he was our first commit and he has been overshadowed by the other three and the BB talk. I hope he comes in and shines.

Despite being located in NY, the Hoosac school plays in the NEPSAC, albeit not at the highest level. In his sophomore year they played Vermont Academy (where Bruce Brown plays) and MacDuffie twice, among others.

I have never heard of Bradford, California nor any Bradford High out here. In the video it looks like Unique is playing against junior high kids.
