Re: NOLA DUO GONE!!!!!
Not sure they will land at Georgetown at this point, unless they can work some magic with Scholarships. Right now they only have 1 remaining for next season seeing as Trey Mourning has decided to come back. Plus it looks like they are going after Andre Rafus Jr. now that he has opened up his recruitment again.
So, seems their options are becoming more and more limited as time goes on. Seems a bit crazy that they haven't found a landing spot at this point, but I think both of them transferring and wanting to stay as a pair makes it difficult to find that spot because they both have to sit.

Yeah it almost sounds like their list is being trimmed by the schools dropping out... Not the other way around.

They should have stayed. This is beyond unfortunate for all parties involved.

You realize I am much older than you right ---- kiddo?
DJ's self importance and over inflated ego is exactly NOT what MM wants on this basketball team.

I don't care how old you are. You have your opinion on the matter from your "sources", and I have mine. We disagree, kiddo. Deal with it.

Re: NOLA DUO GONE!!!!!
Sometimes bad things happen when someone thinks they are much better than they really are. And sometimes there are innocent victims who attach their future to that person. I am sure they will land at either Seton Hall or Creighton. Although just saw a 2018 small forward has committed to Creighton, so not sure how many scholarships they have left.InnervisionsUMASS wrote:They should have stayed. Iv... he's not wrong.. but it was more of his level of self importance that shocked MM..
Re: NOLA DUO GONE!!!!!
I would gladly take them both back to see how they would develop if they were to buy in to MM's philosophy and accept his coaching. But that's water under the bridge and they are not walking through that door.
Re: NOLA DUO GONE!!!!!
Agree 100% I wish they stayed. The fact they haven't found a home is surprising.InnervisionsUMASS wrote:They should have stayed. This is beyond unfortunate for all parties involved.

Re: NOLA DUO GONE!!!!!
It's too bad. Lots of opportunity, great school, good league, MM appears to be a coach with a plan/process to develop players, and a fan base ready for success. What more could you want as a young student athlete or student for that matter. Wish them the best but damn, I wanted to see them develop at UMass, especially Brison who I believe could have made drastic strides. But I wish them success wherever they end up
