NOLA DUO GONE!!!!!
Re: NOLA DUO GONE!!!!!
He can't coach football either.
Re: NOLA DUO GONE!!!!!
Unless you are drafted as a freshman or sophomore, you aren't going first round, and might not get drafted. Deeky's chances of playing in the NBA are a little better than mine...

^ Really! You think he's that good?
Re: NOLA DUO GONE!!!!!
I mean it's certainly not common, but it's kind of funny to make this comment the day after a Junior was taken as the #15 pick in the NBA draft78 wrote:Unless you are drafted as a freshman or sophomore, you aren't going first round, and might not get drafted. ^ and 17, 27, 29, 30 in the first round, plus a bunch of 2nd rounders.
Re: NOLA DUO GONE!!!!!
Honestly, I don't care how many juniors were taken in the first round...Dejon Jarreau is not going to play in the NBA.

Re: NOLA DUO GONE!!!!!
I think 78's comment is very accurate. 78 probably has a near zero chance of playing in the NBA (I'm holding a tiny chance he becomes famous for some random reason and gets signed for a day on some promotional gimmick). However that is only a fractionally lower chance than Deeky making it. Not bashing Deeky, the chances of making it are near zero for every college player let only those who've done nothing of significance so far. That's reality, I hope he is preparing to get a degree.e_parade wrote:I mean it's certainly not common, but it's kind of funny to make this comment the day after a Junior was taken as the #15 pick in the NBA draft78 wrote:Unless you are drafted as a freshman or sophomore, you aren't going first round, and might not get drafted. Re: NOLA DUO GONE!!!!!
How the hell did this turn back into an NBA discussion??
Stop waiting for UMass to do something big and help UMass do something big. - Shades
Re: NOLA DUO GONE!!!!!
So did any of the schools they were considering already fill their scholarships and are now out of the question? Apologies if that was already asked and answered.
Looking forward to the 2022 UMass Football Season (Oh boy, just jinxed that one)

I didn't say otherwise. I was just pointing out it was funny to have that statement be made literally the day before the opposite of it happens.UMassHoops wrote:I think 78's comment is very accurate. 78 probably has a near zero chance of playing in the NBA (I'm holding a tiny chance he becomes famous for some random reason and gets signed for a day on some promotional gimmick). Hot town, summer in the cityInnervisionsUMASS wrote:How the hell did this turn back into an NBA discussion??
Back of my neck getting dirty and gritty
Been down, isn't it a pity
Doesn't seem to be a shadow in the city
All around, people looking half dead
Walking on the sidewalk, hotter than a match head

Regarding scholarships left, it appears both Seton Hall and Creighton have a number available for 2018, which is when these guys will qualify again. I always wonder who pays their way for that one year when they don't have a scholly.

Yeah, I don't know their financial situations but asking a family to pay for a year so they can be on scholarship the following year can't be easy for a lot of families who are relying on the scholarship to pay for school.78 wrote:Regarding scholarships left, it appears both Seton Hall and Creighton have a number available for 2018, which is when these guys will qualify again. I guess I was just assuming wherever they go they would need to have a scholarship for the sit-out year as well.
