KAEO: Zach Coleman
As for roster balance, I'd say 2 things....one, it's always in motion, and you can't just assume the 2015 roster will look like it projects as of now....someone(s) WILL leave, get hurt, whatever. Stuff happens. Also, I think Derrick Gordon is a candidate to get PG minutes, along with Trey. With Clyde and these new guys, we are continuing to stockpile long athletes with some skills. Lots of interchangeable parts, it appears. Reminds me of how Belichick likes to build a roster - the more a guy can do, the better. I would probably be happier knowing for sure who else is going to be getting PG minutes when Chaz leaves, but I'm really not concerned at all at this point. It will shake out.
Funny little tidbit. An hour before he verbally committed, he told Clyde and Berg to follow him on twitter. Seems like the guys had an impression on him. He is built kind of like Putney, tall and lanky, with Put's same desire to shoot it seems. Could be a very good pickup. Have to imagine then that Clyde is going to see time at the 2 with Jesse and DG next year because of how many 3/4s we have.

Derrick Gordon is a very versatile guard and we still have Trey Davis who is a real good PG (he did pick UMass over Florida St)....but really dont underrate Gordon, hes Big East talent, real nice player and a hard worker. Being a top player at St Pats is no joke. Lets not under estimate our guard play without the depth, were good where we are.
From Jeff Borzello at CBS Sports
Zach Coleman, 2013, Dallas Mustangs: Coleman, a Missouri commit, was extremely difficult to guard. His length, size and athleticism made him a matchup problem for Ohio Basketball Club, hitting perimeter shots and also going off the dribble. His floater is nearly impossible to stop
This is the most enjoyable losing season ever!

For those who are concerned about DK recruiting too many forwards or 3's or same type of guy, I think it's much more important to see that the commits don't seem too concerned about it. DK clearly has a plan as to what he wants from each one of them, no commit would come here if they thought they were going be the 4th or 5th guy on the depth chart at the SF position.

Man, we are starting to roll. Gordon, Santee, Coleman and Berger set to make an impact next year. The roster is stocked with quality players for years to come.......DK has us back on the map. I saw where Matty mentioned we are now over the limit with Sampson and JF coming back next year. I mentioned it in another thread, JF said on his twitter a few days back that he was headed up to Amherst for his last go around. I think he's gone after this year.

I may be mistaken, but can't a 5th year senior who has already graduated transfer elsewhere without sitting out a year? My feeling with Javorn is that he has always missed home in the DMV a little bit more than the average player. He nearly left before, but seems to have strong ties to the brotherhood and that brought him back. I sure hope he comes back. He's a quality, quality kid with a lot to offer a program and a lot of leadership to give, but if he heads somewhere closer to home for a graduate degree and one year of ball, I sure couldn't blame him. If he says this is his last go around, I hope he finishes his degree strong this semester and will go on to be very successful in whatever he does. I'm sure he will.
