turnovers are hurting us right now. fortunately, they are racking up the fouls.

Anyone know why Pipkins isn't playing.
I think Halloway ate him.
Jeepers he’s huge. 311 lbs my ass.

Our defense is horrible. Lazy, uninspired, not aggressive, slow to help, no hustle getting back. If this is our D we won’t win a game in the A10!!

Cobb, Keon and Laurent look like they are going to be really solid. I love seeing Pip and Pierre have big games. Holloway is 360 if he's an ounce. He's 6-11 and can't get off the floor to dunk.

I can’t fathom how much he would weigh if he wasn’t playing basketball for the past four years.

Just came from the game. Cobb is SOLID! struggled a bit in first half but you can tell he is a player! Loved Clergot, poor mans Marcus Smart...not a good outside shot but will get his points taking it to the hoop. Great to see Pierre and Pip pickup where they left off last year. Laurent looked solid and I think Diallo will be really good too. Contrary to what someone said earlier, I thought Chatman looked ok...I think McCall will give him every chance to take minutes away from Halloway. He's very athletic, unlike Halloway who will just push most people around and get put backs off missed shots. Mclean and Turner-Morris never took off the warmups and honestly don't think they will all year. I see both transferring next year.
Was a little surprised by McCall and the quick substitutions...especially with Pikins! He subbed him in and out 3 times in the first 8 minutes! Tough to get in any kind of rhythm when you only play 2-3 minutes at a time.
Very dissapointed in crowd...maybe 3000...and maybe 100 students which is pathetic.

I agree that the crowd looked relatively small, but it's important to note that the students don't all sit in the student section. Every time I get to the Bill, I see students sitting all around me, regardless of which section I sit in.

This is what I was wondering about. I missed the first 90 seconds and Pip wasn't in when I started watching.

Some inconsistencies for sure and it'll take a little time to mesh, but it's a win. Turnovers hurt them as well as missed free throws or this would have been a 20 pt win. Thought the new guys (frosh) did ok, the transfers looked a little better. Could have rebounded better but I was pleased with Holloway''s
Effort on the glass.
Keon is a pit bull out there. Kid is strong and fearless. Definitely a spark off the bench. CP12, smooth as butter. Kid can score
Lowell was decent. Well coached, aggressive, shot decent, but I thought they attacked the glass hard
Take the W, work on the mistakes, move on

Meh, didn't love the defense, especially in that first half and smaller stretches in second half. Recognize it's game 1 with lots of new pieces but pretty uninspiring effort overall. Good to win, but going to have to play much better than tonight and in the exhibition game once the competition gets better.
Quick hitters:
Freshmen are freshmen.
Laurent is pretty well rounded offensively -- not what I was expecting.
Cobb is crafty.
Pierre seems a bit more assertive. No way he would’ve scored 20+ in a game last year with only 3 threes.
Whoever called Clergeot a poor man's Smart is spot on. Lots of energy, rough shooter...not sure how I feel about this to be honest -- I kind of think I might be only able to handle one Smart in my life, at least when it comes to shooting.
RH makes a difference defensively inside and on the glass. He is what he is sure, but he makes a difference out there.
We hit five more free throws it’s a much more comfortable win...guess it wasn’t so bad. Just would like to see more consistent stretches of good defense.
