Massachusetts C Josh Cohen has entered the transfer portal. http://verbalcommits.com/players/joshua-cohen
My point Not that Davis was great but was promising! And Josh probably getting better offers ! Mid majors losing out on better and promising players to power schools

The hope? Jesus hope went out the window in the 90s. My only hope is to build a constant winner... not just one semi good year every 10 years and have a coach leave us at a drop of any mediocre success. That's my hope I don't care what conference. I want meaningful gameskd68 wrote: Mon Mar 18, 2024 11:35 am Get use to it. Umass has officially accepted mediocrity. The hope of ever being like we were in the 90’s is gone.
My thoughts as well. This will go for a while, then money will dry up as people get sick of the turnover. The big money donors/schools will be left and thrive, and the rest will struggle.bunkerhill87 wrote: Mon Mar 18, 2024 11:33 am the new normal of college basketball. If anything the current CBB landscape makes me like the MAC move more. The advantage of the A10, other than maintaining historic rivalries/familiar schools, is the ability to put together an At Large season. Very hard to be a mid-major at large team when you’re reconstructing the roster every year.Shook187 wrote: Mon Mar 18, 2024 11:47 amThe hope? Jesus hope went out the window in the 90s.
