Let's be logical and realistic for a minute. How long does UMass go with ⅔grossly overpaying for this basketball program? We're in the goddam MAC and playing in an empty Mullins Center. UMass salaries and NIL are tops in the league, yet we're currently near the bottom of the standings. Who in their right mind would keep throwing money at this sinking ship and raising prices for folks to attend games? It just boggles my mind that those in charge seemingly are okay with the state of the program.

I’ll take another season with Frank. No way should our incompetent AD be allowed to make another hire.

You're 100% right. Obviously can't undo it now by paying Martin's hefty buyout but gotta look at pulling some of the NIL resources and reallocating them to other sports that are actually getting results. Imagine what WBB and Hockey could do if you gave then an extra $250k each. MBB can be a bottom MAC team with 25% of the NIL budget we have now or maybe it would actually have an opposite effect cause we might recruit hungrier players if they aren't getting paid as much.

It is those dam jinxed black uniforms. We rarely win when we wear them. Maybe someone should start a petition drive to do away with them.

Black was never a UMass color until recently and should be given up. Stick to the long time traditional colors , MAROON OR WHITE.

please stop with the Black Jersey thing! It has nothing to do with what color jersey we wear - we cannot play like we did in the first half...Black, White, Pink, Orange jersey - doesn't matter if we play like that! First half was pathetic - if we played like we played in 2nd half, in the first half, No. Illinois would have packed it in and we would have won by double digits. By letting them build a big lead and build some confidence we got what we deserved - a loss vs the worst team in the MAC.

I still think we have just as much talent as anyone in this league so just find a way to get in the top 8 and see what happens

No no no no. You do not make a coaching change unless there is also an AD change. That NEEDS to happen before any further/immediate coaching changes for MBB or FB.

Another MBB change under RB would result in his 4th hire.
