I agree this isn't really a bad loss. Road game in a tough place to play against a team that needs it. It is giving up 50 in the second half that has me a bit concerned.

Maxie hasn't been quite the same since getting hit in the head. He looks like he has lost weight to me.
It was a Esho who was out with the concussion. Never mind, see you fixed it.

Think no one is really surprised by the result but the game was definitely winnable. Waited too long to get it going, which is the common ingredient in most of our losses.

Why don't you boo him on Senior Day? You and your negative comments are unbearable.

You thinking that in anyway was a negative comment is unbearable... It's setting a fact about an award.. Come on now
Another one. Why bring that up after he had a bad game? Did you vociferously post that he should win it after the many many many games when Chaz put this team on his shoulders and gritted out a win. Chaz had one of those days. Just leave it at that.

Definitely not a bad loss, just upset with the way we played. If they brought the effort and it just wasn't their day I'd be less upset. Their attitude that they can just show up and beat teams is worrisome. Maybe that's the wrong way to put it but their mindset for certain games is concerning. The good thing is the usually bring it for big games and after Duquesne every game is a big game. Although in my mind Duquesne is huge to see what mindset is brought.

Lol yes I have posted about winning it.. And yes he was still in the discussion for the award.. And this game removed him from that discussion.. No idea why you are crying about refuse to lose post... You can state facts about a team.. Lighten up

I do not for a moment question this team's effort today. Chaz had one of those days. It happens. We definitely need to work on our rebounding and defensive sets, but all and all, it was an above average performance against a desperate team on the road. Take the positives out of this and move on.

We can all agree with getting it done at the Dukes.

I agree that there certainly can be a bit too much negativity in here, but I also think the reactions to the negativity can be a bit too much as well. Certainly there are cases where people go way over-the-top, but lately I feel like even posts that aren't terribly over-the-top are getting mocked.

But hey, that's just me. To each their own. Flame away at each other...this is America and this is the internet!

I'm going to go outside and do an ice sculpture of Bobby Valvano's hair.

Twisters I agree that there were a few positives from today and it's not a horrible loss, but I'm not sure I would call it an above average effort. They hung 50 on us in the second half.

Good news. Lax up 4-0 over Brown in the first quarter.

I thought DG and Trey played really well. Thought Cady had one of his better games in quite awhile. Those were the positives I took away.

I didn't think the defense was as bad many here did. Dayton just executed very well on a lot of their possessions. I also thought the effort was not the problem. The problem was missing shots and free throws. It happens.

Not real impressed with Dayton, and think we should have won this one. Think I would have looked to Trey a little more late for the 3 ball and drives to the lane. Clearly our best outside threat and FT shooter
