If I were to guess, his "advisors" are pushing the other schools, be BB himself is still thinking about Umass. Considering a kid like that probably has A LOT of voices in his ear, he seems to be hearing them, but not quite fully listening to them.
Just because I know you love these so much...

Wow, I like how he drives, dishes, etc.

Man, I want to see this kid at UMass. Smooth as hell, athletic, good passer, gets off the floor with ease. And if he's the hard nosed defender that others have said he is, what else could you want? I like that he keeps things close to the vest as far as his recruitment goes, big decision, go where you feel most comfortable, but damn, he'd fit in nicely in Amherst. Bruce Brown baby, come on down!

Agree, I'd love to see him come too! Even if we had to go with 4 guard sets.

I would love to see him here. He would make his class absolutely dominant in the a10.

Not much of a development, Brown was scheduled to visit Purdue this weekend. Purdue was mentioned as being in the picture a few weeks back.
As far as I understand it there is a very real roadblock standing between Brown and UMass. Not necessarily insurmountable. Just have to see how it all plays out.

^^^^ Vt academy is far enough away from his home town... Umass should be too. It's too bad really because he probably wants to go here.

Why is calling off his Purdue visit a bad thing?

It's not bad. My comment referred to the previous tweet.

Not sure what all the agitation is about. Brown sounds like he is trying to make a thoughtful decision. If I was in his shoes, I'd check out as many places as possible even if I was sort of sure where I wanted to go. I believe UMASS could be the best place for him- especially with the rest of the recruiting class. I'm very happy with the recruiting class and I hope he join us. But I am not going to get all crazy every step of the way. Bruce- choose UMASS!

Well put Kahuna. Hope he ends up here, but if I was a stud college recruit, I'd be checking out everywhere.

Yeah, and you wouldn't be reading this message board, either.

Have him come for a visit when there's a game and hand out masks of his face to fans on the way in, to wear or hold up during the game. Should make him feel welcome
