I'm trying not to get too overhyped on this, but the timing is extraordinary. If we land Baldwin, we will have an awesome 2016 class, even without Bruce. 2 guards (Jarreau & MacLean) and 2 bigs (Gresham & Baldwin) as well as the transfer, Lewis, who is a pretty good player. With Brown, we are so far over the top it's hard to believe that it's us.

So who is our biggest competition with him? Is it still WVU?

Baldwin has the look of someone who could contribute right away as well... Let's add Baldwin and Brown and have our own fab five!!!

Would there still be an open scholarship for Bruce Brown if Baldwin commits here tomorrow? Don't we only have 4 players graduating this season, or am I forgetting someone?

Crystal Ball predictions mean nothing really as we just found out, but it did pique my interest that one of 24/7 top recruiting analysts changed both Baldwin and Brown's prediction to UMass today. The timing on Baldwin has to be a good sign for UMass.

^ Yessiree! I like the sound of that. Those young men could accomplish great things together! Reminds me of when Lou Roe decided to come here and great players followed.

Even if that was the case, everything would work itself out. The most likely situation would be mclean going elsewhere in my opinion.

Lewis, Clark, McLean, Anderson, DJ, Pipkins

Hines, Holloway, Berger, Coleman, Gresham

Leaves room for 2 more

We have room for 5. We only have 11 on scholarship this year, plus Lewis who will be eligible in 2016. That uses 12 of the 13, and as you said, we have 4 graduating so that gives us 5 for 2016. What a program changing opportunity this might become.

Plus if their incoming class is four or five deep, it may trigger some transfers from upperclassmen who get leapfrogged. I have an idea in mind, but would rather not dwell on the negative.

I hope Chris Baldwin stays near home instead of going off to WV. First, I know DK and I know kids that have played for Huggy and the two men are as different as possible. DK is a hell of a good guy for young student athletes and will be a friend as well as a mentor. Huggy has personal issues and they spill all over his actions.

Idk what to think anymore. The timing is definitely interesting. Is there going to be a stream for Baldwin too? 11AM on a Tuesday is a weird time lol.
