That's still last weeks. I know it says they updated it at 1:20am this morning, but those are still last weeks rankings.

AP and coaches rankings come out a 1pm ET on Monday's.

My guess is Umass will be around 35 in the AP and around 30 in the coaches poll.

^^
Which is why I think they will get a few more in the coaches poll. Not too many teams ahead of the lost the week so it'll be hard to move up too far.

Matty V wasn't voting for UMass in the AP poll so I doubt we get any nationally.

My wish would be ZERO votes in ANY poll. Keep these guys hungry for attention from the National media!

Actually Umass may not even move up in the polls this week... Belmont (over #12 UNC at Chapel Hill), Indiana St (over #21 ND) and Iowa State (over # 7 Michigan) will probably move into or very close to the Top 25 which may affect how far Umass moves up

BYU also got two votes. Hopefully they continue to play well and we'll have a good crowd in Springfield on Dec. 7th for that one.

Week three AP rankings
Monday, November 18, 2013

Umass checks in with 2 votes on the AP putting them at 45th

Not one team dropped out of the top 25

But UMass is 5th in the CBS Sports RPI :D

Thought we'd have gotten closer to 10, but I'm obviously a homer with regard to UMass.

Still think we'll be ranked if we win the Charleston tourney, but I no longer think that's a foregone conclusion, given that New Mexico is the only team in the 8 team tourney that's ranked and no one else besides us is even receiving votes. We obviously have to win the tourney to get ranked, but 2-1 with a close loss to New Mexico might get us more votes.

Long season.

We definitely deserve more than 2 especially with the win over LSU. I hope the guys use this for motivation against Nebraska. We have been out of the national spot light for so long we aren't getting the respect we deserve.
