KAEO Marcquise Reed (2014)

Post by Jackson96 » Fri Apr 24, 2015 12:28 pm

I don't know Len, 15 PPG as a freshman with nearly 50/40/80 splits isn't someone I would kick out of bed for eating crackers because he only made one three pointer a game. The kid produced and he produced efficiently -- this team could use offense and could use efficient offense. Just because he doesn't chuck up 6-7 threes-a-game like Morgan doesn't mean he's not a perimeter threat. Clearly teams have to pay attention to him and it seems like they probably have to pay attention to him at all three levels.

So to answer your question, yes I do want another guard who doesn't fill it up from three. Well I want this guard who doesn't fill it up from three because he does a good job of scoring from everywhere on the court. Not sure how you don't think we can't benefit from a player like that.

And of course I say all this without ever having laid eyes on him on the court. His #'s though paint a pretty positive picture.

^ You should watch the Robert Morris vs UNC game on WatchESPN. It's hard to gauge his defense because they play zone, but offensively he's impressive.

It's MUCH easier to improve your defense than it is your offense, in this fans opinion.

Yeah I've seen him play a few times and he is legit. I think he would be a great addition to the team. Robert Morris is a pretty decent program with a coach I think is better than DK in Andy Toole. We would be lucky to get him, IMO.

I meant Reed, but wouldn't mind Toole someday if things with DK don't work out.

DK needs a 25 win season but I don't see it on the horizon.

What - of course he can win 25 more games, he's still got 4 more seasons... Oh you meant 25 in ONE season.... Never mind.

All we need is more clowns in this world. We already have one in the White House.
