I'm asking this only because I was very surprised that the announced attendance was only 3000, did anyone else think there were more people there than that? I remember thinking it was a relatively good crowd, better attended than the average game. For example,at one point the Minuteman was near the top of the Mullins(doing his best Rocky imitation), and there were a fair amount of people up there. Usually I think the number overstates the attendance and this is the first time I thought the opposite.vanmeter wrote:we have 3000 people in the stands on Senior Day .

Hopefully, in the future, more homes games will be scheduled for when the students are on campus.
I agree too. It seemed like the crowd was larger than announced for a change.
BTW...does anybody know if that last 3 counted for the kid that participated in the shooting contest? He hit the lay-up, the free throw and 2 three's, the 2nd one coming as the buzzer sounded. It looked to me like the he got it off befoire the buzzer sounded. The students chanted"count the shot" but nothing was announced.

I agree. I've posted that sentiment before.Used to be VOR wrote:They did not count the shot.....Nathan never gives any slack on that contest. This year they made it nearly impossible to win. I don;t know why they even bother having it the way it is now.
Even if they did count it wouldn't have had to hit yet another three in order to get a chance at the car?
The contest is joke.

If you spent more time watching the game instead of the Minuteman and Plumber's ice cream you'd be better off!
