I think I'm stressing more about the game tonight because it has the added burden of our top 25 standing. Now, every potential loss is a potential drop from the top 25, so even more painful than usual.

I don't know anything about that site.
Thank you for the info. Checked out the site and seems to be an excellent site for viewing game with no downloads and outstanding coverage. :D

UMass said the same thing in their game notes about Campus Insiders. They now have a link for it:

I had recently found something on LiveStream.com:
http://new.livestream.com/a10/events/2616099

Not sure if LiveStream and Campus Insiders are one in the same.

It was encouraging to see Chaz come out firing against Miami. He scored 11 in the first 11 minutes. He had gotten into a pattern of trying too hard to get everyone involved and not taking advantage of his opportunities.

Against Providence, that happened in the extreme - he had no points and barely shot in the whole first half, even though he played all twenty minutes.

Maybe someone got in his ear about that. I hope that he brings it early and often tonight and sets an aggressive pace.

Any chance there will be a replay available?

The game opened at 10 points

But it now at 8 in most places.

The CBS sports computer picks a 83-70 Umass win

But the only opinion that matters is mine so I say Umass wins 79-64

:D
Again the opening line is misleading. I live in the sports betting capital of the world. I think I know how the system works. It was down to 9/8 before it ever became public to bet in vegas. But the reason for the drop has to do with UMass losing the last three games against the spread. They started off 9-1 against the spread but they books now overvalue us.

^^
I understand how odds work. I have spent many a days in LV and Reno. My point was the -10 was the opening line to get action so it could be adjusted one way or another until it settled.

At some places it is now at 6.5. SJ is 1-9 ATS in their last 10 road games.

The O/U is 149 which seems a bit high.

I'm seeing 6.5 now too... I think this is a closer game as well... If it dips below 6 (no way I see that happening) I'm all over it.

I forget who had UMass by 4 on the previous page but that's where I'm at... I'm thinking another 'meh' performance.. UMass tries to pull away but every time they get a lead of 6-8, Galloway keeps them in it. But at the end of the day our talent wins out.

71-67

It does but if Putney makes his first few three point attempts. If he gets off early UMass will score 80+ and win going away.

If at all possible I will try to post one, but I don't know if I will be able to record it this time.

Check the line movement section of the matchup.. No place ever listed it at 10. Only offshore books and their lines are always a little different

Sagarin has it at about 10 points.

I'm not going to split hairs about this, the line opened at -10 whether it was on or off shore you could have bet it at -10 which was my point.

---

First half line is Umass -3.5 O/U 70.5 ....

I like SJ in the 1st half with the points. Esp considering how much UMass struggles when they have the ball for the final shot.
