Turning it over, missed free throws hurting us. Our offense just has no flow. Defensively we are okay I guess, but Hofstra doesn’t seem very good offensively without that Estrada dude.

I was going to post the opposite. If they just make more of their free throws they’ll win.

Take more 3’s. We shot 38% from the field and 42% from 3.

Can't wait until Gapare is starting.

If he’s closing the games, I could care less if he’s starting. I want to see him develop and stay at UMass as long as possible. I think that Frank knows what he has in Gapare and will treat his progression as best as possible.

100%. I didn't mean to imply that Frank wasn't using him enough, but rather looking forward to when he progresses to the level where he's going to play the lion's share of the minutes.

22-2 run, doing great this half.

Frank has keep his scorers on the floor and they took control of the game. Dyondre deserves to start.

If the starting lineup can avoid going in big holes, I’d love Gaspare in a 6th man role. Just energy and excitement off the bench that keeps the foot on the gas. Maybe a souped-up Maxie with a shot.

I’m really impressed with Thompson. It seems to me the offense runs much smoother with him in there

Big win fellas. I don't care that their best player was out, so was Noah. Played them even in the first and stomped on their throats in the second. The strength of this team is their depth.

This has been a good second half at both ends. Stopped turning it over, players made plays and defensively they really limited a limited offensive team — the lack of turnovers on offense kept them in the halfcourt and no second chance points.

Good effort to pull away.

This is a terrific bounce back game. They are headed in the right direction and gave tough defensive pressure. Nice to see UMass go into NYC and play well. Good for recruiting and it always helps to get a road win. With this team they give you an effort and play hard. They didn’t give up any easy layups. It was a solid road win and will
build their confidence.
