Get back out to campus!

This, in a nutshell, is what is wrong with the program. It's not just the coaches, it's not just the quality of players we attract, it's not just the game day experience and the junk yard that is McGuirk. It's all of it. You don't get to be the worst program in the country for a dozen years by having one or two issues. It's literally everything, top to bottom. None of it is good. How do you fix it? I don't know, but I sure am excited for this upcoming basketball season!
The first two steps (1 and 1A) are the easiest and the hardest.

New AD and/also
Money committed to a new Stadium

A coach can at least sell that to a recruit. Brown or Some other new HC.

This is not a build it and they will come situation. This is if you don't build it, nobody will ever come.

"It recalls an “East Warsaw municipal facility,” joked Yahoo Sports writer and UMass alum Dan Wetzel, who shared a video on his irreverent College Football Enquirer podcast.

Wetzel, a Norwell native who lives near Detroit, digs at his alma mater with love. Branding is important in college football, so until the stadium gets an overhaul, why not embrace the gritty image?

“Just call yourself ‘The Junkyard’ and make it a thing,” Wetzel said in a phone chat. “Have fun with it.”

The Junkyard......I like it!

Will be there with a couple others. Many bench spots open still online, maybe even more than when I looked yesterday. Let's get it sold out tonight

Beautiful day for a game today! Let’s try to have some fun! Think of little McGuirk and all its warts and shortcomings as the beloved Cage of yesteryear…. it’s about the product on the field ( and court); when Cal started to turn the tide in hoop, we didn’t give two shits about The Cage, we embraced it….. let’s hope and pray that something similar will happen with this long struggling football program. We all know that changes need to be made, but maybe in some small way, today can be a step in the right direction.

Just keep that F ing bitch Lucy away from the Stadium, Charlie Brown has suffered enough!

I agree. I knew some of the best families who lived in trailers and the worst families who lived in mansions. It's the people/players that make a football team, not the stadium. Go UMass!

So many empty seats. Thought this was a near sellout?

When Whip was here UMass was competing with SEC schools; now the team doesn't even look they should be on the same field.
