Good riddance to Linda Bruno - she was ineffectual. McGlade seems fine in terms of being an experienced bureacrat. Hopefully she will actually do something good for the conference and the member institutions. Come to think of it - have we ever had a really good A10 Commissioner?

With everyone's favorite Bruno gone, what makes you think that the conference is gonna get more coverage. Let me remind everyone we are still in the A-10. We are considered a mid major by some......

That's going to be said about anybody that's not in a BCS conference. The MVC gets some CBS games, including their league championship, so there's no reason why the A10 can't do better.

Savage That would be part of the job of a really good A10 Commissioner wouldn't it?
To incease the visibility and rise the level of respect the A10 gets nationally seems part of a Commissioner job.

More TV coverage should help get better recruits, which helps improve teams and ratings. Her ACC affiliation may improve scheduling opportunities with that confernce.

On a 15 day cruise in the Med. Athens to London. Due to pass through the straits of Gibralter ? this afternoon and I decided to check in On UMass sports. Nice to see that we have a new A10 comish. Pretty impressive credentials. Hope she can do some of the TV stuff for BB.
