Every time I’ve asked non UMass fans about the Frank Martin hire, most of their responses are…

“Whoa I didn’t know Frank is bald now”
If that's an issue, I have enough for him and me.
Found out that Frank Martin developed alopecia from Covid complications. Damn!
The good news is it is not a serious medical condition, has no effect on life expectancy.

Coach Martin is 56 and he has 5 good years left? Larranaga is 72 and the Canes are in the Elite 8. I know he’s an anomaly but Larranaga is the Man, even at his age.

Another South Carolina player in the portal. A huge dude at 6'8, 280 but he's only a freshman so time to shave some lbs. We'll see what Martin thinks of him. Side note - he's from New Jersey.

That's not at all what I meant. I'm saying after his 5 good years, I don't think he's gonna be a strong candidate for a higher level job because of his age. As I said, I'm hoping for 10 good years.

Frank Martin is a refreshing change of pace. Here's his response to Reindeer's commitment to get students to the games next year:

I found this on Harper Williams' FB. It's a shared memory memory from 2017.

This is one of the reasons I'm very happy with this hire.

I’m a longtime diehard fan new to this forum…. This is a great time to join! It’s been March Sadness around here for far too long - looking forward to some March Madness! I hope Coach Martin can bring in some talented, hardworking players and we can provide the kids with a real home court advantage at the Mullins Center…. I remember very well the Rage in the Cage days and some exciting times at Mullins as well; let’s work together to get there again!

Some nice pics popping up of FM getting picked up at the airport with Ricky Harris, touring the facilities and shaking hands with Noah.

This guy is wasting no time at all. If you don't love seeing this, you have some issues.
