Bay Area UMie and VOR are good for this board. Great comments and insightful. Dumb User Name knows nothing about football but just trolls everybody's posts and throws in: we gotta drop back down to FCS!!!!! He sounds like a 40 year old guy still lives in Mom's basement.

Threw an awful lot in your last two posts there, Zoo. You seem out of material and a little rattled. You ok?

Holy shit. Now I regret defending him from Jack’s “bye” comment. He really might just be a completely insensitive idiot.

A REAL QB transfer has committed! Not sure how he'll do, but this give us just a little hope for next season.

Wait!!! He threw a 44 yard TD to someone.......are you sure he would "fit in" with Casula's "offense"? Nah..........we need guys who run up the middle for -2 yards then the Wildcat on 3rd down for no gain. This is UMass football: the "culture" has to be right.

Well he threw a ton of picks and is a middle of the road FCS guy so he should fit in very well.. Sad thing is he is still probably better than anyone we have right now outside of Haston

I've followed virtually every game since 2012. either gone, watched on TV (when we were on NESN), listened on CRN. Coach Gomer (not Molnar 2.0 anymore, I actually think Molnar 2013 was not that bad) had a lead over Rutgers and I thought he was another Lane Kiffin or something. It's like a switch was thrown and we never led in another game with Coach Gomer. Blown out vs SIU and the moderator at the other board told me that I was being too "harsh". I should give Coach Gomer a chance. Yeah ok 2 wins in 3 years. I called Bell Molnar 2.0 and Coach Gomer. SJG$ had the good game analysis at the other board. He's gone now but on Twitter.

Don't know why but I think Casula comes back in 2023. He reminds me of Matt Patricia and Joe Judge: totally clueless and SHOULD NOT be calling offensive plays.

I guess my single wish for 2023 is ONE win. Sad but true. why is Casula not fired? he doesn't have a multi year contract I don't think. I'll try to research it.

Threw a ton of Pick Sixes, huh? Did they "take it to the House"? He'll be PERFECT!!!!

You know UMass football is a funny animal: absolutely horrendous "program" yet no one outside of us morons on this chat board complains. If we weren't the second richest state in the US, someone would pull the plug on this debacle. So, infinite money yet we can't win a damn game?!? For some random G5 team to fly across the country into our "stadium" and walk out with a win is in itself troubling. And like the moron that I am, I'll probably make my usual $500 donation by year's end.

He threw for more yards 1800 in seven games then all UMass QBs combined (1400) in twelve games. Funniest stat: He threw for more TDs in one game (6) then all then UMass QBs did for the whole season (4).

Whip brought in transfers who played at Marshall and VT and Casula brings in transfers from NAU and WCU...

The experience and completion % is a plus.. just worried that we need more. I fear that Brown will keep reloading our D and it will become a very good unit while we don't add too much on offense. It will be the complete opposite of Whip.. In the Whip days we would lose 52-44.. Now we will lose 17-10. Hopefully I will be pleasantly surprised.
