When a salary cap comes into the equation, the P4 will still hit the max and some G6 schools will spend enough to create a little more parity. The P4 shills are trying to stop that in its tracks.

There is no salary cap in college football and there will never be one. College football has always been the haves and the have nots. No parity in college sports only in the NFL to a degree.

Let's put it this way: what schools were playing for the national championship 90 years ago?? Ohio State, Alabama, Texas A&M,.....who is playing for the national championship today? Plenty of people are pissed a Tulane or JMU is even on the same playing field as Oregon or Oklahoma.......it's not hoops with a #16 seed beating a #1 like Virginia lost etc......best guy we had in the NIL era was KLA and we couldn't keep him.

Interesting that you used 90 years ago….the southern schools didn’t get their grasp until about 70 years ago. 90 years ago, Fordham, Ivies, and military academies were the dominant programs I think.

the AP writers were the sole pollsters. 1936 was the first "true" National championship......Fordham and the Ivys were already being "phased out" by the 50's......yes Fordham had the "seven blocks of granite" but by the 50's they had dropped football. The USMA and USNA are different animals. The Ivy League was founded after WW2 and was actually a downgrade and Harvard and Princeton were not playing for the National Championship by that time.
