^ Could that be the result of DK’s coaching?

I think that he has actually regressed a little bit from last year. I don't know if the numbers back that up, this is merely the eye test. ...
I was surprised when checking Evan Miya's BPR analytics that DHS has fallen to 6th on the roster. Danny and K'Jei trailed him all year, but passed him now. Danny hitting a few shots and K'Jei's good-great offensive games @Akron and @Coastal pushed those 2 players past DHS, who has been 4th (behind Jayden, Leo and Marcus) every time I checked until today. The team continues to mostly rate well offensively and poor defensively. DHS is 3rd best defensively, and the team needs that.
And I join you in being a huge fan of the person.
Good shout bringing up the Evan Miya rankings. I'll use that to bring back the Luka/Clerc debate. Frank constantly says our offense is not the problem and bemoans our defense, especially interior defense (which is obvious and we can all see). Of the 10 players measured, Miya's rankings have Luka with a positive offensive rating and the 2nd worst defensive rating, while Clerc has a negative offense and 4th best defensive rating.

Again, nobody's saying that Clerc is a total game changer, but if the issue with this team has been defense, why has the guy that grades out better defensively on paper and with the eye test been stuck on the bench? To me, it goes back to the comment I made yesterday about playing favorites. Frank has a connection with UMass alum Mike Mannix, who coached Luka at Wilbraham Monson Academy, so he's favoring Luka. I hate to say it, but I think it might be that simple.

You're probably right. What I find weird about that is you'd think that Frank would do that at the start of the season, and as things progressed you'd learn what you have and go with what is best for the team. Would any of us have blamed him with going with his 2nd year player over a new to the program player to start the year? But in this case, the shift was made inexplicably in the middle of the season. All coaches play favorites to an extent.. they want to keep their recruiting pipelines happy and fruitful, that's the nature of the business. This one remains baffling.

And while one might argue that Frank makes a ton here and might be just going through the motions, he also has monetary incentives built into his contract for winning and advancing. The coaching moves thus far, this one being discussed near the top, have not helped to reach any incentives.
