I think the boxes he was carrying were filled with participation trophies he's going to hand out to the team after the St. Joes loss. I mean that's the way he coached all year. Gotta play everybody, can't piss anybody off. Thr truth is, when you try to please everybody, you please nobody.

I personally have no problem with that.
Must be tough sleddin' in Belchertown on a million a year if he is lugging home that single ply stuff.
"Jack didn’t have any envy in him," Calipari said. "He was the greatest coach to ever coach here."

Either have something to connect to it (I.E. a written article) or be willing to name the source. Otherwise, just keep it to yourself, because anyone can make statements like that.

Source: Brad Stevens seen moving boxes into UMass basketball's HC's office.

Back in 2011, Kevin Morris talked like he would be returning, too.

I posted a few years ago and supported DK. Two years later we went to the tournament for the first time in 15 years. I would like to see him get the same support again and my hope would be that we get the same result.

We have been to the tournament in 1 out of DK's 9 years. We have also had has many losing seasons as winning seasons (4/4 with 1 season at exactly .500). We have only been above .500 in conference play 4 times in his 9 years. Prior to the 2013-14 appearance, yes, we had gone 15 years without an appearance with 5 of those years being under Kellogg's leadership. Since that one and done appearance the program has declined each year. I personally vote against hoping for the same results.

JoleonLescottsHair wrote:^ pretty remarkable break from reality there. Yes, growing pains. Do you still get those at age 9?

Having said that, it is going to be hard for Bamford to fire a guy with the highest winning percentage of any UMass head coach.

The Bruins fired their head coach last month who had the most wins in team history.

If it's going to be a 6-year cycle under Kellogg, three years of no postseason, 2 years of NIT (1 good showing, 1 bad) and 1 NCAA (one and done)... count me out.

I took a weekend off from the board, spent some time with extended family. It was nice to get away. Come back today to find a shitstorm of crap from yesterday.

Some of you clowns really need to get a life.

This thread is done. Someone can start a new one, but for the love of Christ, think before you type.
