It's still Bamfords call.. and everyone has a breaking point.. if we only win 1-2 more games all year maybe Mr. Kennedy will have hit his as well. Sure there are other boosters that are not happy at the moment.

You don't have to be a big fan of Derek Kellogg to understand that the constant public flogging does damage to the program. I believe his post is simply pointing that out.

God bless Kennedy for his donations to the the program, but I'm pretty sure it's the constant losing that is damaging the program.

^^ The incessant flogging makes it hard to want to come here...so I can understand Kennedy's POV.

It's less about the opinion that he should go than it is about the constant repetition.

I think the constant poor performance does much more damage to the program.

Give us a break.

What coach would want to come to a place where no one cares? People are expressing displeasure because they care. That's a good thing

Check this out.....Just played home to Fordham, at Saint Lou, home to George Mason, and at LaSalle....end result? LOST THEM ALL!!!! Un-fucking-real!!!!! Can this team play defense without getting the other team in the double bonus early every second half? I don't care if anyone transfers, time to end the DK run......

maybe 1 more win this year and a quick exit in the tourney. Time for a change. I think kellog is an awesome guy. wish him the very best.
I have nothing against his character etc. Was hoping when he was hired he would bring stability and a winning attitude from his playing days as well as being at some high end programs. Sadly it never came to fruition. Umass has given him a very very long tenure given his record to date. Hoping AD sees the writing on the wall and makes the right decision to move forward. I really dont think one more year will change anything. If we lose some of these guys so be it. From my perspective some of them are not all that great. Maybe its the coach that has not put them in the best position to shine but still seeing awefull decisions out there. ( Deekys lob to Hollaway in 1st half last night similar to end of Fordham game). I still watch every game i can . I still hope we can turn it around. I still hope this group can come together and overcome all the deficiencies.

DK has a minimum of nine games left this season to take the sour taste out of people's mouths. He has a lifeline still and has proven by beating Dayton that we can compete with anyone in this conference. The only thing any of us can do is to show up for these games and help this team finish strong. Then it is up to Bamford to send the white smoke up from his office on Commonwealth Ave in April if DK is staying or the black smoke if there is going to be a regime change. I am hoping that the team and DK turn this thing around starting Tuesday night against the hated Rams of Rhode Island.

Is John kennedy related to kevin kennedy, DKs high school coach?

At this point, only a moron or somebody with a current relationship with him would not see the writing on the wall...

Can we start a new poll?: "constant" flogging vs. constant losing.

I would caution you on this line of thinking. You are ignoring the prospect that Dayton simply had a very off night in losing to us, as teams are prone to doing. Last year, Dayton lost to La Salle, even though Dayton finished tied for first in the A10 and La Salle was last.

So maybe they play down to their opponent? 2 years in a row they're gonna win the league and lost to the last place team.

What is the most likely explanation? That Dayton has a bad night on occasion, or that a Umass or La Salle are actually very competitive and the record just doesn't show it?
