Hate to say this but Coach Joe makes 1.5M and you could hire Vince Lombardi and Bill Belichick at 10 million dollars each and this team would still not win a game. This program sucks so bad year after year that you can have Saquon Barklay and Cee Dee Lamb and Josh Allen and the 85 Bears defense with The Fridge and we would still lose

I hate to say it @DumbUserName or #DumbUserName but this is historically bad, not just bad. It tells me this program is cursed. I know you love FCS football but I would drop the football program for a few years then restart. FCS is a non starter. Next year we would need NIL money of 5 million dollars and I would put 80% into the OL. Obviously we moved into an FBS conference and would need to find a non football playing D1 conference for all the other sports. Hockey would stay in Hockey East.
Obviously I'm distraught that week in week out we lose; Last FBS win was at Army. We had KLA and Billy Wooden and Cole Garcia. Cole Garcia was a fucking road grader.

let me put it to you this way: If we lose to Kent next week we probably go 0-12. I would start Hairston and keep him in until the wheels fall off. we need to spend absolutely insane NIL money next year.

For the record, I also “love” FCS non-scholarship, D2 and D3. And if UMass isnt going to figure out FCS (scholly or non) it should join the ranks of the roughly 100 D1 schools that simply don’t field a football team- or close down and reset as you prescribe. It must make your head explode to think you largely agree with me given what you’ve now concluded. Poor dude.

Apparently you did not notice Morris running the program to at best a mediocre FCS program as we transition. When i hear the cursed stuff, all I can think about long ago, the Red Soxs.

And, yes, I suppose I could enjoy NAIA football if I had a rooting interest. This is obviously not an option for UMass, so just try to keep on track with whatever point you always fail to make. Nope. Nope. 100% false. I have LONG said they’d be better off dropping down OR dropping the entire program. I made this argument as early as 2014.. There is a thing here called an archive if you want your dumb ass lie further exposed. This is not a controversial stance for me or anything I have shied from. There is no “FCS or bust” position, although I most definitely argued that should be an option. 100%. Utterly Bizarre angle you’re working here, champ.
