Seems like the quality of recruit is on a very nice upswing :)

Or at least the quality of schools we're competing against.

It's amazing how quickly the "needs" change. All of a sudden, I feel like it's imperative we get a top PG in next year. We go from no bigs to no mediums to no minis. It's always in motion.

No settling down! No way! Euphoria when possible, because it ain't that often possible.

Or conversely, or maybe obversely, F--k these four star recruits! Why can't we get any five star recruits???? (Note: sarcasm)

Aren't we out of scholarships for 2010? Next year's team only has one senior (Ricky Harris), and we already have one 2010 commitment (Maxie Esho).

things happen. esho could back out of his verbal, someone could transfer, we're still unsure about matt hill, and theres always injuries, grades, etc. i believe there were no open scholarships when DK first started recruiting Vinson to UMass. we wouldve been far behind if DK had waited for a scholarship to open up before recruiting Vinson

^ Yeah, you always have to recruit, regardless of the scholarship situation.

I really thought Mat Hill was going to transfer, but it gets less likely as we go on. And after his Jr. year, the only way he would not be on the team is for medical reasons I would think. Is there any possibility he could apply for a medical red shirt for last season? I am unfamiliar with the rules.

Of the 5 recruits coming in this year, Vinson, Riley, Carter, Putney, Farrel, I doubt all of them will stay for their whole career, possibly opening up a scholarship down the line.
