The forecast is freezing temp with windchill to about 25 degrees. Brrrr. Yale deserves its ranking, a real challenge for UM.

UMass playing a near perfect game on O and D, leads 11 to 2 at halftime. Yale 16 to's in first half, some unforced.

We hold on, gets some huge saves by freshman Knote in goal, win 13-10. Yale awoke and dominated much of Q3. Philpott and Trainor played really well.

A shocka! I went to the women's hoops senior day (a 20 point win) and it was 9-2 when I arrived at Garber. Two minutes later it was 11-2 at the half. Of course you had to assume that Yale would come back and the 11-2 lead wouldn't hold. We struggled with the faceoffs and with trying to advance the ball, but hung in. A win over #1! Doesn't happen on campus very often in any sport.
Edit: First ever lax win over a #1! Hard to believe given the distinguished history of the Gorillas.

Yale face off guy is best in the country...no one is close. Our Freshman FOGO is going to be really good.
