Mike Babul, gone way too soon at 47 years old. Like many of the non-Calipari era players, another outstanding and underappreciated UMass player and student athlete. It looks like he was on Bruiser's staff at Drexel for a bit.

Far too young, makes me sad. If they had a picture that said "Team Player", Mike would be on it.

Kinda hits home for me..my father dropped dead from heart attack at age 48 when I was only 8.

Such sad news. Mike was all about playing the game the right way. Defense first and get the ball to the open man. Total effort on both ends of the court. You represented UMass with class and never backed down.
