Went to yesterdays game with a few friends, who have not been in years. One thought the stadium look really good, but he is a spend thrift. Both had a good time and want to come back to this game. I'll let them know about the time change.

Good time change. A) we don't belong on prime time. B) We can have a great dinner in the valley to celebrate victory.

UM (0-11 / 0-7) closes out the season next week at home vs Bowling Green (3-8 / 1-6). UM hopes to avoid their first all-loss season since 1896.*
*excluding the 4-game COVID season in 2020
Also in 1896
UMass, then called Massachusetts Agricultural College, had 114 students.
Henry Ford built his first automobile: The Quadricycle.
The first Olympic Games were held.
Amelia Earhart hadn't been born yet.
The US had 45 states.
Future president Dwight Eisenhower was 6 years old.

They went winless in 1927 as well, but managed a tie to avoid an all-loss season. Maybe 2025 can do the same? I'm doubtful of that... so in that case, even though I didn't start this thread, everyone stay tuned:
The March to 0-12 comes to its faithful conclusion.

Akron beat BG last night to set up the official battle for last place. So much on the line for a 4:30 Tuesday Maction game.

Might as well make it at least an historical season and fulfill the March
My nephew is at Michigan and texted me asking "is UMass gonna be winless?" Sadly, that could be yes

Technically this is inaccurate - Sorry to burst the bubble:
Bryant and Kent were our best chances at a win based on Massey Odds of winning. Per Massey, Umass has an 8% chance of winning this game and we are underdogs by 17 Points.

I was referring to this point in time. Thus, the sarcasm reference. Anyhow, it really doesn't matter.

I'm trying to decide whether it is a faithful conclusion or a fateful conclusion.
I'm going with fateful. Mainly because UMass athletics has been known to have been doooomed on several occasions over the years.
