Central is not a hot-bed of FBS talent. Getting players from there who are not being pursued by other FBS teams is nothing to crow about.
it only takes ONE player to be a "pipeline" when you're talking UMasseldonabe wrote: Fri Feb 13, 2026 3:03 pm Whahoooo!
Do you mean the "pipeline" that currently has one single player on any FBS roster - which also happens to be the player UMass just signed? Oh sorry two - and both on UMass's Roster.

2026 OT Jake McGrath @jmcgrath66
6'6, 300lbs, 4.03 GPA
Buckingham Browne & Nichols High School, MA
Grade: FBS/FCS
When you watch Jake McGrath's HUDL tape he looks like a stereotypical FBS prospect. The young man is huge and fills out every bit of his 6'6 frame. The hips and fluidity of movement is more than adequate, and the young man handles his responsibility without issue. Numerous second-level blocks show his mobility in space...and then there's the leg drive while run blocking...it's all very dominant.
Good: Size, Functional Strength, Dominates His Responsibility, Football IQ
Concerns: Limited Pass Pro Reps, kick slide rarely on tape.
