Junior year (2005-06) pre-season report from Head Coach Travis Ford: "Drew is somebody who can shoot the basketball. The difference between Nana and Drew is that Drew brings more offense. Drew can handle the basketball, can shoot it pretty well, he's got to get into a little better shape but somebody who can get in there for a couple minutes and maybe not turn it over, can maybe get a minute or two."

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2004-05: Walk-on who joined the team after an impressive walk-on tryout in October ... A point guard who played on the scout team ... Played the final 59 seconds against St. Bonaventure (2/5) ... Made collegiate debut playing the final seconds vs. Yale (11/28).

BEFORE UMASS: Did not play high school basketball as he was cut from his high school team three times ... Played extensive recreational and intramural basketball.
