1995-96 Senior year

  • Atlantic 10 First Team selection.
  • NABC All-District First Team selection.
  • All-Region Team, NCAA Tournament East Region.2)
  • Co-captain, along with Dana Dingle.
  • Second on the team in scoring (14.5 ppg), third in rebounding (5.8). Ranked tenth in the A-10 in scoring.
  • Started all 37 of the team's games. Bright and Dingle lead the UM record books for number of games started in a season.3)
  • Shot .794 from the free throw line to lead the team. Improved a great deal from .683 in the previous season.
  • Hit a string of 40 consecutive free throws during the season (1/10 thru 2/1).
  • Went 14-14 from the line against Rhode Island (1/17). This was UM's best for free throw perfection in a game in the Atlantic 10 era, until matched by Stephane Lasme (14-14 vs Duquesne on 3/5/2005). Others in UM history have hit more free throws in a game, but none without a miss.
  • Averaged 20.8 points in the four games UMass was without Marcus Camby.
