At UMass
- Opted to transfer to UMass in May 2017, after one year at Memphis. Said UMass coach Matt McCall had been recruiting him since he was in 9th grade, when McCall got the job at UT-Chattanooga.2)
2019-20 Redshirt Junior year
- Appeared in 30 of 31 games, started 16, including the first 7.
- Averaged 21.9 minutes per game and 5.0 points. Scored in double figures in two games.
- Shots per game went down from previous season, from 5.7 to 4.4.
- Shooting percentage inside the arc was consistent, but from 3 it declined from .383 in 2018-19 to just .280 this season.
- Chipped in 6 points, 4 boards, 4 assists, and 2 steals in the win over Northeastern (11/12).
- Scored a season-high 20 points in the romp over Central CT (11/16). Shot 7-8 from the floor, 2-3 from 3, and 4-4 from the stripe.

- Lost the starting role for the Rutgers game (11/29) with the emergence of TJ Weeks as the team's leading scorer.
- Tallied 7 points and 4 assists versus South Carolina (12/4).
- Scored 8 points and rebounded 4 versus Yale (12/11). Played a season-high 35 minutes in the overtime game.
- Got his starting role back for the Maine game (12/20). Responded by dishing a season-high 7 assists, and also added 4 points and 3 rebounds.
- Scored 9 points and rebounded 5 at Akron (12/30).
- Six points, 4 rebounds, and 3 steals at Saint Louis (1/5).
- Nine points and 2 rebounds in 30 minutes in the win over La Salle (1/8).

- Came off the bench starting with the Duquesne game (1/25) as Preston Santos won the starting job. Scored 6 points and rebounded 3 versus the Dukes.

- Scored 12 points in 19 minutes at Temple (12/12), shooting 5-7 from the floor plus 2 free throws.
- Tallied 11 points, 2 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals, and a block against Fairleigh Dickinson (12/21).
- Notched 13 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and a steal versus La Salle (1/5).
- Ten points and 3 rebounds at Dayton (1/13).
- Eleven points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, and a steal at Saint Joe's (2/2).
- Back-to-back 12 point games versus Davidson (2/9) and at George Mason (2/13). Also added 5 rebounds versus Davidson.

- Also drew offers from Bowling Green, Chattanooga, Cleveland State, Duquesne, Hofstra, Jacksonville, Louisiana Tech, Stephen F. Austin, Texas Tech, Towson and VCU, among others
- Was named Florida Association of Basketball Coaches (FABC) Class 6A First Team All-State after averaging 26.5 points per game, leading the Polk County in the process
- He also dished out six assists and pulled down eight rebounds per game
- He finished fourth in the Class 6A Player of the Year, helping lead Auburndale High School to a 16-9 overall record, including a 5-3 mark within District 6
- As a junior he averaged 26.8 points, 7.9 assists, and 6.5 rebounds per game
