  • DeGray II, a 6'6” Forward, was a Junior College (Howard County TX) All-American, averaging 17 points and 10 rebounds, and then continued at Colorado for two seasons, before a six-year professional career overseas.12)13)14)
  • Prior to committing to Colorado, he also drew interest from Virginia, Saint Louis, and New Orleans.15)
  • DeGray II's 1996-97 Colorado team, led by Chauncey Billips, went 22-10, returning to the NCAA Tournament and AP Top 25 rankings for the first time since the 1968-69 season. DeGray earned a spot on the Big 12's All-Newcomer Team, playing in 31 of CU's 32 games, starting 29, averaging 7.0 ppg and 5.0 rpg.16)
  • In 1997-98, DeGray II was named Big 12 All-Conference Honorable Mention, upping his numbers to 12.2 and 7.4, starting 26 of the Buffs' 27 games.17)18) On 12/20/97, Colorado lost to UMass, 79-68. DeGray snared 11 rebounds but was held to 8 points on 2-13 FG shooting.
