Hired on 3/25/2005 to replace Steve Lappas.
Led the Minutemen to a share (with Xavier) of the Atlantic 10 Regular Season title in his second season, and the second round of the NIT.
Win total improved by 11 between Ford's first and second season, which is the highest swing in UMass history.
Led UMass to the NIT Championship game in 2008.
Revisiting the recruiting class of 2007 leaves something to be desired. (1/4/2012)

3/13/2024: SLU dismisses Ford after eight seasons, no A10 regular season title, one A10 Tournament title (2019), one NCAA Tournament appearance (2019, 0-1 record), and a cumulative record of 146-109 (.573).²⁾
In his SLU tenure, Ford went 7-4 versus UMass, but just 1-3 in the last four.

3/18/2016: OSU fires Ford, will pay $7.2 million remaining on his contract.³⁾
1/17/2012: Speculation that Ford may be on hot seat. Earning $3.725 million per year plus bonuses, contract runs through 2019.⁴⁾
